Safi-Abad Palace is located on a hill on the verge of Behshahr. This palace is one of the historical and magnificent Safavi constructions which was totally destructed during Ghajar period because of negligence, but reconstructed during Pahlavi period under Reza Shah's command with the same method and trait as Safavi period. During this period, its old altar which was gradually blocked and destroyed was reconstructed.
Shah Garden :
A serene and lovely garden, which today receives Behshahr municipality, is the renowned king garden of Ashraf-ol-belad during Safavie period which, as the tourists say, is full of a-hundred-year cedars and decorous flowers. The construction was destructed due to negligence but a better one was built above it which was known as Forum. It is at the middle of the garden. Its length is three times its width. The front side of the construction is very open and walls which have several windows block the backside and the other two sides. Abbas-Abad Palace is also one of the monuments of Safavi period from which some parts has remained near Behshahr.
Abbas-Abad Lake :
This lake is located in southeast Behshahr among forest at 400 meters above sea level and due to constructions that Shah Abbas carried around there; it is called Abbas-Abad. Its width is around 10 hectares and its depth is about 10 meters. It has many tourism capabilities because of its free roadway access, its tenancy environment, its monuments, and suitable climate.
Miankaleh Gulf:
Miankaleh peninsula, with an original nature, is the lair of birds and wild animals in the region and registered as one of the biggest and most important sources of wild life in the world. Miankaleh peninsula is separated from the sea by sandy beach hills about 6.5 kilometers length. Its width, specially its outfall lengthens and shortens as the water level increases or decreases. The peninsula area is a half-woody turf with the most significant of its shrubs containing pomegranate and wild raspberry shrubs. Ever year hundreds of thousand migrant birds from all kinds of flamingos, swan and dark geese, white front, cormorant, different ducks and Mergus peak land on this peninsula and set to reproducing and passing the winter.
Hootoo Cave:
It is located in Trojen province, one kilometer to west of Behshahr at the city gateway and the monuments which are discovered there include stony blades, pieces of bones of shark, deer, and the skeletons of three humans who probably lived at 75000 to 50000 years ago which are considered as the world famous monuments. Of course going inside the garden is only possible with the permission from National Heritage Organization of the province.
